Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide emergency medical care to patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers in a fast-paced emergency department setting
- Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of emergency medical conditions
- Perform procedures and interventions as necessary within the scope of emergency medicine
- Document all patient encounters and clinical activities accurately and promptly
- Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, policies, and best practices
Additional Information
- Must have an active Mississippi license
- Recent emergency medicine experience (within the past six months) is required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is optional
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine required
