Responsibilities and Duties
Provide emergency medical care to patients presenting with acute illnesses or injuries
Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare providers in a fast-paced emergency department setting
Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of emergency medical conditions
Perform procedures and interventions as necessary within the scope of emergency medicine
Document all patient encounters and clinical activities accurately and promptly
Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, policies, and best practices
Additional Information
Must have an active Mississippi license
Recent emergency medicine experience (within the past six months) is required
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification is optional
Board certification in Emergency Medicine required
