We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant for a 36-week locum tenens assignment in Georgia, starting Nov 16, 2025. This ongoing contract pool offers 13-week commitments with the potential to extend, focusing on night and variable shifts in a fast-paced community hospital environment.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide patient care in an emergency department within a hospital
  • Perform all lifesaving emergency procedures, including intubation, ventilator management, chest tube insertion, arterial and central line placement
  • Treat all patient age groups, with a primary focus on adult and geriatric populations
  • Work collaboratively with robust specialist backup and coverage
  • Utilize Epic EMR for patient documentation and workflow
  • Manage high-acuity and high-volume trauma cases, with trauma experience highly preferred


Additional Information

  • Active Physician Assistant license required in Georgia
  • Strong trauma experience highly preferred due to acuity, volume, and setting
  • Candidates must be willing to work night shifts; those unable to work nights will not be considered
