Schedule: Montgomery shifts are 7am-7pm, 2pm-10pm, and 7pm-7am; additional facility hours are 7am-7pm and 7pm-7am; majority of shifts at Montgomery Facility
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in a Level III Trauma Center
Manage acute and chronic conditions presenting to the emergency department
Collaborate with physicians, physician assistants, and other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Participate in 48-hour physician coverage and 24-hour NP/PA coverage alongside the care team
Document patient encounters and treatment plans according to facility protocols
Respond efficiently to high-volume emergency cases
Additional Information
Must have an active Virginia state license and DEA registration to begin credentialing; these are required to start
Emergency Medicine board certification and Emergency Nurse Practitioner Certification (ENP) required
Experience with high-volume emergency department settings preferred
Assignment includes a facility with 146 hospital beds and a combined ED annual volume of 40,000
