Schedule: Shifts include 6A-2P, 11A-11P, 2P-10P, 10P-6A, and 11A-11P (PIT); coverage required for days, nights, and weekends
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide comprehensive care to patients presenting to the emergency department
Perform evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and implement treatment plans for a broad range of acute presentations
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
Participate in all aspects of emergency room care, including triage and ongoing management
Document clinical findings and treatment in accordance with departmental protocols
Maintain current certifications and adhere to facility policies
Additional Information
Must be licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Virginia
Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (NCCA, ANCC)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
Participation in all shift types is mandatory; candidates available for days only will not be accepted
Proof of ATLS required once in career
