Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide comprehensive emergency room coverage
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and urgent medical conditions
  • Perform procedures within the scope of emergency medicine as credentialed
  • Collaborate effectively with ER staff, physicians, and other clinical team members
  • Ensure high standards of patient care and documentation


Additional Information

  • Active NY license and NY DEA required
  • Board certification in Emergency Medicine required
  • ANCC or AANP certification required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) certifications required (AHA only)
  • Experience in high-acuity ER settings preferred
