Nurse Practitioner - Emergency Medicine

Job Description

We are seeking an Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 5-day assignment in North Dakota, starting Sep 6, 2026. This role involves 24-hour consecutive shifts, providing sole coverage for both the Emergency Department and Inpatient floor. The successful candidate will be comfortable with a hybrid ED/IP model and performing necessary Emergency Medicine and Inpatient procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Covering the Emergency Department and Inpatient floor as the sole provider.
• Managing a hybrid ED/Inpatient caseload.
• Performing Emergency Medicine and Inpatient procedures.
• Remaining on-site for 24-hour consecutive shifts.

Additional Information

• Required Board Certifications: Emergency Medicine.
• EMR: Epic.
• Work Setting: Inpatient and Emergency Department hybrid.
• Shift Schedule: 24-hour consecutive shifts (12p-12p), requiring on-site stay.
• Average Daily Census: 9 ED patients, 6 Inpatient patients.
• Staffing Model: Sole provider coverage.
