Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide acute care services in an emergency medicine setting
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver patient-centered care
  • Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute and emergent conditions
  • Perform clinical procedures as required for emergency medicine practice
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters
  • Adhere to clinical protocols and standards of care


Additional Information

  • Must have an active Mississippi license
  • Recent emergency medicine experience within the past six months required
  • DEA with CSPA and Mississippi address required for NP providers
  • Board certification in Family Nurse Practitioner by ANCC or AANP required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) optional
