We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in Louisiana. This opportunity begins on Dec 1, 2025, and offers flexible shift options, including 8am–8pm Monday through Thursday and 10am–10pm Sunday through Saturday. Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide emergency medical care to diverse patient populations
• Evaluate and treat patients in a high-volume ER setting
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to deliver efficient patient care
• Perform assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe appropriate treatments
• Respond quickly to acute and life-threatening situations
• Document patient care accurately and timely according to facility protocols

Additional Information

• Emergency medicine experience required
• Must hold an active Louisiana license
• Required board certification: Emergency Medicine
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
• Minimum of 3 shifts required during the assignment
