Schedule: 144 hours monthly; 10- and 12-hour shifts with a heavy focus on night availability. Priority shifts include 2pm-12am, 1pm-11pm, and 6pm-6a.
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide advanced emergency care to a broad patient population, primarily adults and geriatric patients
Perform all lifesaving procedures, including intubation, ventilator management, chest tube insertion, arterial line placement, and central line placement
Manage patients in a 46-bed emergency department within a 331-bed hospital
Collaborate with robust specialist backup and coverage
Utilize Epic EMR to manage patient documentation and workflows
Deliver patient care in a high-acuity, high-volume environment
Participate in 35 hours of daily physician coverage and 44 hours of daily APP coverage
Additional Information
Active Georgia license required
Trauma experience highly preferred
Must be willing and able to work night shifts; applicants not available for nights will not be considered
Assignment is ongoing with 13-week minimum contracts and extension options
