We are seeking an experienced Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in California. Shifts are typically 9a-9p or 11a-11p, and strong ER experience along with current BLS, ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications are required.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide acute care for emergency cases within the emergency department
- Assess, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with urgent and emergent conditions
- Perform clinical procedures within the advanced practice scope as appropriate to emergency medicine
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality patient care
- Document all patient encounters and care provided accurately and promptly
- Maintain compliance with all hospital protocols and regulatory requirements
Additional Information
- Must hold an active Nurse Practitioner license in California
- Required certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), ATLS, ACLS, PALS
- Board certification in Family Medicine required
- Demonstrated strong experience in emergency room settings
