We are seeking an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to take on a pivotal role managing night shifts in a busy emergency room in Arizona. This 30-day locum tenens assignment begins on Oct 1, 2025, and involves covering 5-10 night shifts monthly from 8p-8a. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring continuous patient care while the supervising physician is on call.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Operate independently in the ER while the supervising physician is on-call
  • Respond effectively to emergency cases with the ability to intubate when necessary
  • Ensure high-quality patient management throughout the night shift
  • Coordinate with the on-call doctor for critical care and decisions


Required Qualifications

  • Must have 5-10 years of relevant experience in emergency care settings
  • Hold an active Nurse Practitioner license in Arizona
  • Required Certifications: BLS, PALS, ATLS, DEA
  • Board Certified in Family Medicine
  • Proficient in the use of the CPSI EMR system for patient documentation
