Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Dentist for a 42-day locum tenens assignment in Nevada, starting Jan 12, 2026. This opportunity offers a flexible schedule of 2-3 days per week, Monday through Friday, with day shifts from 8 AM to 5 PM. The Dentist will provide exams, restorative treatments, preventive care, and oral health education in accordance with IHS standards.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide dental services including exams, restorative treatments, oral health education, and preventive care
  • Diagnose and treat patients within professional scope and IHS standards
  • Assist in patient care processes, ensuring adherence to safety, infection control, and IHS standards
  • Complete and maintain patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Electronic Dental Record (EDR)
  • Comply with Joint Commission and CMS standards in a culturally competent manner
  • Participate in quality assurance activities and adhere to IHS and service unit policies


Additional Information

  • 2+ years experience needed
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • License to practice dentistry in any state accepted
  • Start date is dependent on credentialing, including security clearance and NEO schedule
