Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Dentist for a locum tenens assignment in New Mexico. This two-day opportunity starts on Oct 17, 2025, with shifts from 7am until the last patient is seen each day. The dentist will provide a range of general dentistry and oral surgery services with an emphasis on restorative and palliative care.Job Details

Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide dental treatments, including extractions, dental fillings, cavity and tooth decay treatments, bonding, and application of dental crowns and caps
- Perform oral surgery, simple restorative, and palliative care procedures
- Demonstrate strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in all phases of general dentistry
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Ensure compliance with all relevant clinical and regulatory standards
Additional Information
- Must hold a DMD or DDS from an accredited US program
- Active, unrestricted New Mexico dental license required
- Valid NPI number, CV/resume, CPR/BLS certification, real ID driver’s license, and NPDB report required
- Board certification by the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD) is required
