Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform routine dental treatments such as fillings, extractions, cleanings, and root canals.
  • Diagnose dental conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Supervise and coordinate the facility's dental program.
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate subordinate staff.
  • Consult and coordinate with other healthcare professionals for specialized dental care.
  • Manage dental supplies and ensure adherence to sanitation and infection control standards.
  • Maintain and secure dental records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance.
  • Monitor and audit dental services and pharmacy use.
  • Handle dental unit inspections and maintain safety standards.
  • Participate in continuous education and maintain on-call availability.
