Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner - Surgery - Trauma for a 30-day assignment in South Carolina. This role involves 12-hour shifts during the week and 24-hour weekend shifts, focusing on hospital consults, first assisting in OR cases, and providing cardiovascular surgery coverage. The successful candidate will perform patient rounds in PCU, conduct clinic duties, and execute procedures such as chest tubes and thoracentesis, alongside managing ER and Cath lab consults.

Responsibilities and Duties

Perform patient rounds in PCU and clinic duties in the office.
Execute procedures on the floor, including chest tubes and thoracentesis.
Manage ER and Cath lab consults.

Additional Information

EMR: eClinicalWorks
Work Setting: Clinic and Call
Call Schedule: Out of house call, including after-hour shift and call coverage.
Patient Volume: 5-15 patients per day
LOA: 30 Days
Staffing Mix: 6 APP, 6 MA
