Responsibilities and Duties
Perform general cardiovascular, thoracic, and vascular surgeries
Conduct coronary artery bypass surgery
Address congenital cardiac defects
Execute valvular repairs and replacements
Repair aneurysms
Perform lung resections, including VATs
Manage chest wall and pleural procedures
Conduct surgeries involving the esophagus and diaphragm
Perform endarterectomy (carotid and renal)
Oversee ventilation management and bronchoscopy
Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues
Additional Information
Board certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery required
Active Ohio medical license required
Must have a clean professional record
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) required
COVID vaccination required (noted at time of name clear)
Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days of presentation required
Must be able to cover all listed assignment dates
