Physician - Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon for a 30-day assignment with our client in Kentucky, commencing May 31, 2026. This role involves 24-hour shifts, focusing on operating room, telemetry, and ICU duties. The Physician will primarily be responsible for first assisting in complex surgical cases including CABG, AVR, MVR, and various thoracotomy/lung resection procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform OR duties, including first assisting in CABG, AVR, MVR, and thoracotomy/lung resection cases
• Manage telemetry and ICU duties
• Address surgical CT cases
• Conduct vein harvests
• Perform chest tube placements
• Provide coverage while the facility recruits for an additional FTE
