Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a 24-day assignment with our client in California, starting Aug 10, 2026. This role involves 24-hour shifts from 7 am to 7 am, including on-call duties, providing surgery first assist, daily hospital rounding, charting, and managing complex procedures such as CABG, AVRs, and lung cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide surgery first assist.
• Perform hospital rounding on patients daily.
• Participate in on-call rotation, responding to pages as needed.
• Manage rooming and charting responsibilities.
• Conduct vein harvesting.
• Handle cases including CABG, AVRs, and lung procedures.

Additional Information

• Board Certifications required in Surgery and Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• EMR System: Cerner.
