Physician Assistant - Surgery - Cardiothoracic

Job Description

We are seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant for a 4-day assignment starting Apr 23, 2026, in Arizona. This role features a dynamic schedule including 8-hour day shifts, weeknight beeper call, and 24-hour call periods. The Physician Assistant will be integral in duties such as temporary pacemaker removal, chest tube removal, IABP removal, and Aline placement, primarily attending to patients post-cardiothoracic surgery.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Perform temporary pacemaker removal
• Perform chest tube removal
• Perform IABP removal
• Perform Aline placement
• Work with recent cardiothoracic surgery cases
• Demonstrate proficiency with EVH
