Physician - Cardiologist

Job Description

We are seeking a Cardiologist to join our client's team in Nebraska, starting Nov 20, 2026, for a 65-day assignment. This role involves 24-hour hospital coverage, including general night call, weekend rounding, and consults. The Cardiologist will focus on inpatient care, performing TEEs, rounding, and providing consultations.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide inpatient rounding and consultations for cardiac patients.
• Perform Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEEs).
• Participate in general night call and provide weekend rounding/consults.
• Coordinate transfers for cardiac emergencies to a specialized facility, as there is no cath lab on-site.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Cardiology is a requirement.
• The EMR system utilized is Epic.
• This is an inpatient-only position, focused entirely on hospital coverage.
• The schedule includes general night call and weekend responsibilities for rounding and consults.
• Proficiency in performing TEEs is essential for this role.
