Nurse Practitioner - Cardiology

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for an engaging 7-day inpatient assignment in Washington. The role involves managing a diverse patient caseload within an inpatient cardiology setting, working shifts scheduled in tandem with another advanced practice provider. Shifts vary, including 7a-5:30p, 7a-7p, 7p-8a, or 8p-7a, with no call responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive cardiology care to patients in an inpatient setting.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Conduct patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and formulate diagnoses.
• Manage patient treatments, medication adjustments, and ongoing patient education.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all patient encounters.
