Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Physician specializing in Cardiac Anesthesiology for a 120-day assignment in Tennessee. The schedule involves Monday through Friday, 10-hour shifts from 0700 to 1700, with night and weekend call opportunities available. This role primarily focuses on cardiac anesthesia cases, including Cath Lab and IR procedures.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide comprehensive cardiac anesthesia services
- Manage cases in the Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology (IR)
- Supervise CRNAs, with a staffing mix of approximately 2/3 supervision and 1/3 independent cases
Additional Information
- Board Certifications: Anesthesiology
- EMR: Epic
- Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), TEE Certification
- Call Schedule: Night and weekend call is available
- Patients per day: 10
- LOA: 120 Days
- Staffing Mix: Physician must be comfortable supervising CRNAs (2/3) and performing own cases (1/3)
