Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Cardiac Anesthesiologist for a 140-day assignment in Florida, starting Jul 20, 2026. This Physician role involves providing comprehensive cardiac anesthesia care, encompassing cases like CABG, Valves, and TAVR, alongside general surgery, OB/GYN, and orthopedic procedures. The schedule includes Monday through Friday shifts (7a-3p, 7a-5p, or 7a-7p) with call and weekend requirements, following a 2 weeks on and 1 week off pattern. The Cardiac Anesthesiologist will manage a mix of their own cases and supervision duties.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide cardiac anesthesia services for a range of cases including CABG, Valves, TAVR, Mitraclip, LAA ligation, and EP.
  • Cover general surgery, OB/Gyn/GYO, Ortho, Urology, GI, Cath Lab, CVL, Endo, Ent, and spines cases.
  • Work shifts Monday through Friday, 7a-3p, 7a-5p, or 7a-7p.
  • Fulfill call requirements during weekdays from 5p-7a and weekends from 7a-7a.
  • Adhere to a 2 weeks on/1 week off cardiac schedule.
  • Manage a caseload of 70% own cases and 30% supervision.
  • Maintain a minimum of 20 shifts per month.
  • Participate in credentialing with a 90-day timeframe.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Anesthesiology is required.
  • A current Florida state medical license is required.
