Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Anesthetist for an engaging 120-day assignment with our client in Florida, commencing Mar 2, 2026. This full-time role involves a flexible schedule of 5x8 or 4x10 non-consecutive shifts, providing medical direction for a diverse range of cardiac cases including CABGs, valve repairs, TAVR, MitraClips, and various thoracic procedures.

Responsibilities and Duties

Provide medical direction for anesthesia services.
Manage a wide array of cardiac cases, including simple CABGs, open valve repairs, TAVR, MitraClips, and off-pump procedures.
Perform various lung-related cases.
Conduct structural heart procedures such as TAVR, MitraClips, TMVR, and septal repairs.
Handle CABGs, including both open and minimally invasive valve repairs/replacements, and aorta replacements, potentially supporting a future robotic mitral program.
Address VATS, thoracotomies, and thoracic AAA procedures.
Participate in cases involving Impella implants, ECMO, and support the expanding heart failure program.
Flexibility to cover general cases on certain dates while maintaining the cardiac rate.
