Physician - Anesthesiologist

Job Description

Our client in Texas is seeking a dedicated Anesthesiologist for a 60-day assignment. This full-time opportunity involves a 5x12 weekly shift, with a possibility of 4x12, and requires no call or weekend responsibilities. The role focuses on solo cases and supervising, encompassing a broad range of surgical procedures including orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, spine, urology, GI, minor vascular, and breast surgery.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide anesthesia for solo cases and supervision as required.
• Work independently with the possibility of a care team model.
• Perform normal blocks and spinals.
• Manage cases across Orthopedics, general surgery, gynecology, orthopedic spine, urology, GI, minor vascular, and breast surgery.
• Demonstrate comfort with EP cases and spine procedures.
• Refrain from pediatric, craniotomy, or cardiac cases.

Additional Information

• Board Certification in Anesthesiology is required.
• The facility utilizes Epic EMR.
• No call or weekend shifts are required for this assignment.
• The role primarily involves independent practice with some care team model interaction.
