We are seeking a board-certified Anesthesiologist for a 30-day locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Oct 10, 2025. This role features day shifts from 7am to 4pm, with some shifts potentially extending later, and coverage needed on select dates in October. The assignment encompasses a range of procedures, including ophthalmology and GI cases.

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Provide anesthesia services for ophthalmology and GI procedures, including cataract, retina, colonoscopy, tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, and bone marrow transplant cases
  • Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and formulate anesthesia care plans
  • Administer anesthesia and monitor patient status throughout procedures
  • Collaborate with surgeons, proceduralists, and perioperative staff to ensure safe and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility protocols

Additional Information
  • Board certification in Anesthesiology required
  • Active Pennsylvania state medical license required; IMLC candidates considered
  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience expected
