Physician - Anesthesiologist

Job Description

We are seeking an Anesthesiologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in North Carolina, starting Dec 1, 2025. This role offers a schedule of daytime shifts from 7am to 3pm with 24-hour call from 7am to 7am. The Anesthesiologist will provide 100 percent supervision of CRNAs and oversee pre-operative and post-operative patient care.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Supervise Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) in all aspects of anesthesia care
• Manage and oversee pre-operative and post-operative care for patients
• Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and patient safety guidelines

Additional Information

• Active North Carolina medical license required
• Board certification in Anesthesiology required
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
• Recent hospital-based experience necessary
