Job Description

We are seeking an Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment in Massachusetts, starting May 4, 2026, with a 262-day contract. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, including weeknight and weekend call as needed. The Anesthesiologist will independently cover cases in either the OR or Endoscopy suite, with no supervision responsibilities.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide independent anesthesia coverage for cases in the operating room or endoscopy suite
  • Manage all aspects of anesthesia care without supervision
  • Respond to calls as needed during weeknights and weekends


Additional Information

  • Must hold a valid Massachusetts medical license
  • Board certification in Anesthesiology required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
  • Experience with Epic EMR preferred
  • Regional skills strongly preferred
