Job Description

We are seeking an Anesthesiologist for a 140-day assignment in Florida, starting Jul 6, 2026. Our client operates a Pediatric Trauma center with operating rooms, offering a dynamic environment where you will manage a variety of pediatric cases including General Surgery, Ortho, Genitourinary, Otolaryngology, and Dental procedures. This role involves a mix of solo and medically directed coverage, focusing on both sick and healthy patients.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia care in a Pediatric Trauma setting with operating rooms.
  • Manage a diverse caseload predominantly including General Surgery, Ortho, Genitourinary (GU), Otolaryngology (ENT), and Dental procedures.
  • Perform required procedures such as IV placement; regional experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Care for a patient mix comprising approximately 60% sick and 40% healthy pediatric patients.
  • Collaborate within a care team model, typically overseeing 2 CRNAs to 1 MD.
  • Operate within a 60/40 covering:solo model, with medical direction provided at a 2:1 ratio.
  • Opportunity to include pediatric heart, cath, and EP cases if comfortable.
