Job Description

We are actively seeking a skilled Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens opportunity with our client in Florida, commencing May 25, 2026. This 84-day assignment involves a focus on cardiac anesthesia, including TEE examination, and participation in a diverse range of surgical cases such as CABG, valve replacement, general surgery, and orthopedics.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide cardiac anesthesia services, including TEE examination, for approximately 25-30 cases per month.
  • Perform required procedures such as a-line, CVC, PAC, and regional anesthesia.
  • Work within a care team model consisting of CRNAs and MDs.
  • Manage a variety of cases including cardiac (CABG, valve replacement, aortic surgery, advanced EP ablations, Watchman), general surgery, orthopedics, GI, robotics, OB (C-sections required), radiology, endo, eyes, plastics, ENT, and neuro; no trauma cases.
  • Demonstrate TEE capability across all relevant cases.
  • Focus on cases predominantly in cardiac, general surgery, orthopedics, GI, and robotics.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Anesthesiology is required.
  • EMR System: Meditech EHR.
