Job Description

Our client in Florida is seeking an Anesthesiologist for a 120-day assignment starting Jun 1, 2026. This full-time role involves a Monday through Friday schedule with options for five 8-hour or five 10-hour shifts, plus beeper call. The physician will manage a broad range of cases including general surgery, orthopedics, GI, robotics, OB, and neuro, working within a care team model.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintain a full-time commitment of at least four weeks per month, working Monday through Friday with options for five 8-hour or five 10-hour shifts.
  • Manage a diverse range of anesthesia cases including general surgery, orthopedics, GI, robotics, OB, radiology, endoscopy, eyes, plastics, ENT, and neuro.
  • Exclude trauma cases from the scope of practice.
  • Work collaboratively with a dedicated cardiac team for heart-related cases.
  • Participate in beeper call duties as scheduled.
  • Provide supervision within an 80/20 model.
  • Collaborate effectively within a care team composed of CRNAs and MDs.


Additional Information

  • Board Certification in Anesthesiology is required.
  • Experience with Meditech EHR is preferred.
  • Credentialing period is approximately 120 days, with no rush available.
  • A phone interview with the hospital CNO is the final step for privileges.
  • Candidates home address must not be located within Florida.
