We are seeking an Anesthesiologist for a locum tenens assignment in Florida, beginning Sep 29, 2025, with a 100-day commitment. Schedule: 8s, 10s, and 12s available; 7a-3p, 7a-5p; weekday in-house call (5p-7a) and in-house weekend coverage; call rotation includes in-house and beeper coverage
Responsibilities and Duties
Provide anesthesia care for a variety of surgical cases, including orthopedic, general surgery, vascular, ophthalmology, urology, neurosurgery, electrophysiology, plastic surgery, pain, GI, thoracic, ENT, OMFS, and select OB/GYN cases
Participate in a care team model
Manage anesthesia for Trauma cases (no hearts, no OB, no pediatric cases)
Perform required procedures, including trauma and regional ultrasound-guided techniques
Supervise and collaborate with advanced practice providers as needed (approximately 20% supervision)
Rotate through call schedules, including in-house and beeper call, as described in the job details
Document all patient information and care activities in the Epic EMR system
Adhere to all facility protocols and best practices for anesthesia care
Additional Information
Must have a current Florida medical license
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required
Must have a clean background to facilitate expedited credentialing
Experience with Trauma and regional ultrasound procedures required
No board certification requirement specified
