Job Description

We are currently seeking a seasoned Anesthesiologist for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Florida. This opportunity starts on Oct 27, 2025, and involves day shifts from Monday to Friday. The role includes managing a variety of cases such as Orthopedics, General, Neurosurgery, Vascular, Endo, GYN, Robotics, and Trauma, with the support of a dedicated cardiac team for specific cases.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Administer anesthetics to patients and monitor their care during surgery.
  • Attend to emergency calls and provide anesthetic consultation services.
  • Perform regional blocks, spinals, and central and arterial line placements.
  • Oversee the performance of CRNAs in administering anesthesia.
  • Ensure all practices comply with hospital procedures and safety standards.


Additional Information

  • Must hold valid Florida medical license.
  • Board certified in Anesthesiology.
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a similar role required.
  • Proficient with iProcedures EMR system.
  • ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory.
