Job Description

 We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 60-day locum tenens assignment at a hospital in Virginia. The assignment begins on 10/31/2025, with a work schedule of 7 AM to 3 PM. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with a wide range of standard cases, including General Surgery, Endoscopy, Gynecology, Orthopedics, Spine, Robotics, Urology, Obstetrics, Catheterization Lab, and Interventional Radiology Lab. Spinal experience is preferred but not required. This role does not involve cardiac procedures, epidurals, or peripheral nerve blocks. The position offers the possibility of extension beyond the initial 60-day period.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide anesthesia care for a variety of standard surgical procedures

• Collaborate with surgeons and other healthcare professionals in the operating room

• Conduct pre-operative assessments and develop anesthesia plans

• Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures

• Manage post-operative pain and recovery

• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period

• Adapt to the hospital's paper charting system

• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records

• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed


Additional Information:

• Virginia state license required

• Spinal anesthesia experience preferred but not mandatory

• Comfortable working in various surgical specialties
