Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) for a locum tenens position in Texas. This 96-day assignment begins on 03/02/2026 at a clinic setting. The schedule involves 2 twelve-hour shifts and 2 ten-hour shifts per week, with one day off as determined by the scheduler. The CAA will be responsible for providing medical direction for various cases including Orthopedics, Urology, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, and Gynecology. Proficiency with the Cerner electronic health record system is required. This opportunity offers the potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Provide anesthesia care and medical direction for a variety of surgical cases
• Collaborate with the anesthesiology team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
• Manage pre-operative assessments and post-operative care
• Utilize the Cerner EHR system for documentation and patient management
• Adapt to a dynamic schedule and diverse case load
• Maintain compliance with all facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare team members
