Job Description

 Wellhart is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) specializing in Anesthesiology for a 72-day locum tenens assignment at a clinic in Texas. Starting on 12/15/2025 this position involves 12-hour shifts, including Sundays from 7am to 7pm, with no call requirements. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a diverse range of cases including gynecology, orthopedics, neurospine, general surgery, urology, endoscopy, interventional radiology, some cardiovascular (excluding open heart), vascular, and robotic procedures. This role requires expertise in administering spinal anesthesia and working with adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients under medical direction.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Administer anesthesia for a wide variety of surgical procedures

• Perform spinal anesthesia techniques

• Provide care for adult, geriatric, and adolescent patients

• Collaborate with the anesthesiology team under medical direction

• Conduct pre-anesthetic assessments and develop anesthetic plans

• Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures

• Manage post-anesthesia care and recovery

• Maintain accurate and timely patient records using Epic EHR system

• Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives

• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period


Additional Information:

• Must hold an active Texas CRNA license

• Experience with Epic EHR preferred

• Proficiency in spinal anesthesia required
