Job Description

We are seeking a board-certified Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania, starting Apr 6, 2026, for a 30-day duration. This role offers day shifts Monday through Friday (7am-3pm, 8-hour shifts) at multiple surgery centers, with no call, weekends, or overnight coverage required. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia care under medical direction for all surgical subspecialties, including general surgery, ENT, plastics, ophthalmology, retina, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, and endoscopy
  • Administer anesthesia to healthy pediatric and adult patients
  • Perform spinals and blocks as credentialed and experienced
  • Optionally perform epidurals and peripheral nerve blocks if competency is demonstrated and privileges granted
  • Maintain a typical CRNA-to-physician ratio of 1:3
  • Deliver safe, effective anesthesia care in accordance with surgery center protocols
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant clinical and safety standards


Additional Information

  • Board certification in Anesthesiology required
  • Active Pennsylvania state license preferred; candidates needing to obtain a license will be considered if availability aligns with client needs
  • ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
  • Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
  • Must be willing to cover all surgery center sites (no intraday travel expected)
  • Healthy pediatric patients only
  • IMLC candidates will be considered
