Responsibilities and Duties
Provide anesthesia care under medical direction for all surgical subspecialties, including general surgery, ENT, plastics, ophthalmology, retina, orthopedics, urology, gynecology, and endoscopy
Administer anesthesia to healthy pediatric and adult patients
Perform spinals and blocks as credentialed and experienced
Optionally perform epidurals and peripheral nerve blocks if competency is demonstrated and privileges granted
Maintain a typical CRNA-to-physician ratio of 1:3
Deliver safe, effective anesthesia care in accordance with surgery center protocols
Ensure adherence to all relevant clinical and safety standards
Additional Information
Board certification in Anesthesiology required
Active Pennsylvania state license preferred; candidates needing to obtain a license will be considered if availability aligns with client needs
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
Must be willing to cover all surgery center sites (no intraday travel expected)
Healthy pediatric patients only
IMLC candidates will be considered
