Job Description

 We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 60-day locum tenens assignment at a hospital in Pennsylvania. Starting 01/05/2026, this role requires expertise in obstetrics, including C-section support and spinal placement. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with spinals, airway management, MAC, and GA. You'll assist in covering Labor & Delivery for C-sections, place spinals, and provide primary support for elective surgical schedules across 11 locations, rotating between the main OR, surgery center, and L&D. On-call support for overflow and emergent procedures is also required. This position offers a flexible schedule with 16-20 shifts per month, including 8, 10, and 12-hour shifts, Monday through Friday until 7 PM. There is potential for extension beyond the initial 60-day assignment.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide anesthesia care for various surgical procedures, with a focus on obstetrics

• Assist in covering Labor & Delivery for C-sections and placing spinals

• Support elective surgical schedules across 11 locations

• Rotate between main OR, surgery center, and L&D

• Provide on-call support for overflow and emergent procedures

• Demonstrate proficiency in spinals, airway management, MAC, and GA

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care

• Maintain accurate and timely medical records using Epic EMR system

• Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures


Additional Information:

• Pennsylvania license required

• Obstetrics experience is essential

• Familiarity with Epic EMR system preferred

• Possibility of assignment extension
