Job Description

 We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)for a 60-day locum tenens assignment at a critical access hospital in Pennsylvania. The assignment begins on 10/06/2025 and requires coverage Monday through Thursday, from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM. This role involves standard OR coverage with no call duties. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with 100% surgical cases, including pediatric ENT procedures. The position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a multi-specialty setting, collaborating with various surgical specialties and an in-house Anesthesiologist.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide anesthesia services for a variety of surgical procedures

• Manage patient care in the operating room

• Collaborate with surgical teams and the in-house Anesthesia MD

• Handle 100% surgical cases, including 10% pediatric (mainly ENT)

• Perform pre-anesthetic assessments and develop anesthesia care plans

• Monitor patients during procedures and manage post-anesthesia care

• Utilize Meditech EHR and paper charting systems


Additional Information:

• Surgical specialties include General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Gastroenterology, and Urology

• Comfortable with pediatric cases, particularly tympanostomy, tonsils, and adenoids

• Pennsylvania state license required

• Possibility of assignment extension
