Job Description

We are seeking an Anesthetist for a 20-day locum tenens assignment in Ohio, starting Jun 1, 2026. The schedule involves full-time, 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, from 7 AM to 5 PM. This role focuses on a variety of orthopedic procedures, including total knee and hip arthroplasties, ACL repairs, and tendon repairs, requiring comfort with spinals, peripheral nerve blocks, and general anesthesia techniques.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Perform anesthesia for a wide range of orthopedic procedures, including Total Knee Arthroplasty, Total Hip Arthroplasty, Partial Knees, ACL repairs, Meniscus repairs, Rotator Cuff repairs, Labral repairs, Bicep tenodesis, Carpal tunnel releases, Trigger finger releases, Distal radius fractures, Tendon repairs, Bunionectomies, Achilles tendon repairs, Ankle fractures, and Hammer toe corrections.
  • Demonstrate comfort with various anesthesia techniques, including Spinals, Peripheral nerve blocks, General anesthesia (LMA/ETT) combined with blocks, MAC with local or regional blocks, and General (LMA) or MAC with Popliteal/Saphenous blocks.
