We are seeking a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist for a 124-week locum tenens assignment in New Mexico. This opportunity begins on Dec 1, 2025, and features day shifts, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities as needed. The role involves providing comprehensive anesthetic care for various surgical cases and direct patient care within a multidisciplinary team environment.

  • Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 0700-1530 (excluding holidays); on-call coverage includes weeknights 1530-0700, weekends, and holidays as specified


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Deliver professional anesthetic services for operating room surgical cases and other procedures as needed
  • Respond to emergency situations requiring anesthetic care in any area of the facility
  • Consult and collaborate with surgical and anesthesia staff on patient care matters
  • Ensure patients receive appropriate and effective anesthetic management
  • Review and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with documentation protocols
  • Complete all patient documentation prior to shift completion and resolve any delinquent charts before contract end
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards under the supervision of the Chief of Anesthesia or designee
  • Utilize electronic health records for all patient documentation
  • Follow technical direction and guidance as provided by designated officials


Additional Information

  • Must be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with a minimum of 52 weeks of relevant experience
  • Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Must be licensed to practice in any state
