Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday, 0700-1530 (excluding holidays); on-call coverage includes weeknights 1530-0700, weekends, and holidays as specified
Responsibilities and Duties
Deliver professional anesthetic services for operating room surgical cases and other procedures as needed
Respond to emergency situations requiring anesthetic care in any area of the facility
Consult and collaborate with surgical and anesthesia staff on patient care matters
Ensure patients receive appropriate and effective anesthetic management
Review and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with documentation protocols
Complete all patient documentation prior to shift completion and resolve any delinquent charts before contract end
Adhere to quality assurance standards under the supervision of the Chief of Anesthesia or designee
Utilize electronic health records for all patient documentation
Follow technical direction and guidance as provided by designated officials
Additional Information
Must be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with a minimum of 52 weeks of relevant experience
Required certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Must be licensed to practice in any state
