Job Description

 We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a 45-day locum tenens assignment at a hospital in Nebraska. The assignment begins on 10/06/2025, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with a variety of cases, including orthopedics, endoscopy, urology, and occasional pediatric, dental, and spine procedures. Experience with regional anesthesia and nerve blocks is essential. The role requires independent work and familiarity with paper charting and Meditech for order entry. This opportunity offers the potential for extension beyond the initial assignment period.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide anesthesia services for a range of surgical procedures, including orthopedics, endoscopy, and urology
  • Perform regional anesthesia techniques and nerve blocks
  • Manage occasional pediatric, dental, and spine cases
  • Handle sporadic obstetric cases from the Emergency Room
  • Work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment
  • Utilize paper charting for documentation and Meditech for order entry
  • Collaborate effectively with the surgical team and nursing staff
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative period
  • Adapt to varying case loads and types of procedures
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and procedures
