Job Description

 We are seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) for a locum tenens position at a hospital in North Carolina. This 9-day assignment begins on 10/07/2025, with flexible shift options ranging from 7 AM to 11 PM. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various anesthesiology procedures, including neuro anesthesia, endoscopy, general surgery, plastics, vascular, spine cases, liver cases, robotics, orthopedics, and trauma. The CRNA will work alongside MDAs who will handle spinals, epidurals, nerve blocks, and fiber optics. Proficiency in Epic EMR is required. This opportunity offers the potential for extension and additional weekend coverage.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Provide anesthesia care for a diverse range of surgical procedures

• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes

• Manage pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative anesthesia care

• Adapt to various surgical specialties, including neurosurgery, general surgery, orthopedics, and more

• Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and patient care management

• Maintain flexibility for potential weekend coverage as needed


Additional Information:

• Must be licensed to practice in North Carolina

• Experience with complex cases such as neuro and ortho spine surgeries is preferred

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment

• Ability to adapt to varying shift lengths and start times
