Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Anesthetist for an essential 16-day locum tenens assignment in our client's facility in Montana. Beginning Jun 29, 2026, this role involves periodic blocks of coverage, including call duties, where you will be responsible for managing nurse anesthesia services, participating in pre-operative assessments, formulating anesthetic plans, and initiating post-operative pain regimens.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Manage nurse anesthesia services.
  • Participate in pre-operative assessments and anesthetic plan formulation.
  • Initiate post-operative pain regimens.
  • Proficiently perform peripheral nerve blocks and manage OB cases independently.
  • Comfortably respond to emergency events in the ER, ICU, and other hospital departments.
  • Provide anesthesia care within a trauma center environment, including occasional sole anesthesia provider coverage.
