Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist specializing in Anesthesiology for a 60-day locum tenens assignment in Minnesota starting Jan 12, 2026. This opportunity offers regular day shifts Monday through Thursday with emergent coverage on Fridays, plus required call and weekend rotation.

  • Schedule: Monday to Thursday (Elective), Fridays (Emergent only, such as C-section); 8-hour days (7:00 - 15:30) plus required call, overnight and weekend call rotated


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia care for adult and pediatric patients
  • Deliver services in both supervised and unsupervised models
  • Perform special procedures including VBAC/TOLAC, Tap Blocks, Epidurals, Spinal and peripheral blocks
  • Manage cases in PEDs, ENT, General, and OB anesthesia
  • Float between multiple facilities as required
  • Participate in weekend and PM call coverage as needed


Additional Information

  • Active Minnesota state license required
  • Board certification in Anesthesiology required
  • Minimum of 1 year of anesthesia experience needed
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Must be comfortable with both supervised and unsupervised practice settings
