Job Description

Our client in Michigan is seeking a dedicated Anesthetist for a 60-day assignment beginning Jun 29, 2026. This role involves delivering comprehensive anesthesia care for a variety of inpatient surgical procedures, including general surgery, neurosurgical cases, and deep sedation/MAC. Responsibilities will also encompass preoperative assessments, patient education, safely administering anesthetics, monitoring patients throughout procedures, managing ventilation, and responding to emergencies, with shifts that will vary.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Deliver anesthesia care for a variety of inpatient surgical procedures, including general surgery, neurosurgical cases, and deep sedation/MAC
  • Collaborate closely with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and perioperative staff, including RNs, surgical technologists, and anesthesia technicians
  • Provide preoperative assessments and patient education
  • Administer anesthetics safely and monitor patients throughout surgical procedures
  • Manage ventilation and oversee physician-administered regional anesthesia
  • Respond to patient emergencies in coordination with the healthcare team
  • Participate in ongoing quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
