Job Description

We are seeking an Anesthetist for a 120-day assignment in Michigan, starting Apr 6, 2026. This role involves floating between three locations to provide comprehensive anesthesia services, encompassing a wide range of surgical procedures such as scopes, bread and butter, laparoscopic abdominal procedures, ophthalmology, podiatry, orthopedics, vascular, and cardiology cases, along with addressing ward and Emergency Department needs.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Float between three distinct clinical locations as needed.
  • Provide anesthesia for scopes, bread and butter, and laparoscopic abdominal procedures.
  • Manage ophthalmology cases, including cataracts.
  • Administer anesthesia for podiatry, orthopedics, and vascular procedures.
  • Handle cardiology cases, including TEEs and cardioversions.
  • Perform general anesthetics, MAC, and regional skills; blocks are optional, with training available to refresh skills.
  • Address ward and Emergency Department needs, including IV access, airway access, and expert provider support.
  • Focus on 80-90% outpatient care and 10-20% inpatient care.
  • Manage GI cases.


Additional Information
