Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 14-day assignment in Maine, beginning Apr 20, 2026. This role involves working 7am-3pm shifts, primarily focused on a diverse range of surgical cases under medical supervision, with an emphasis on independent practice within a tertiary facility environment.


Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provide anesthesia care for a diverse case mix in a tertiary facility with Trauma designation, utilizing 5 total surgical suites and 1 endoscopy suite.
  • Administer anesthesia for cases including General Surgery, Urology, Obstetrics/Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Endoscopy, ENT, and Pediatric Dentistry.
  • Work under medical supervision with a 5:1 ratio, operating mostly independently while a physician is available for help and supervision.
  • Participate in Pain Management cases, which are led and supervised by a physician.
  • Manage Pediatric Dental cases, scheduled twice a month.
