Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist specializing in Anesthesiology for a 26-day locum tenens assignment in Maine. This opportunity begins on Oct 24, 2025, with day shifts from 7am to 3pm and on-call coverage to be determined in coordination with the client. The assignment involves supporting orthopedic, OB, GYN, podiatry, and general surgery cases in a multi-specialty surgical environment. Proficiency in Cerner EMR is required.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support intubation, sedation, and IV procedures
  • Perform blocks and provide anesthesia for OB cases
  • Deliver anesthesia care for orthopedic, gynecological, podiatric, and general surgery procedures
  • Work across three operating rooms, including one designated for scopes
  • Collaborate with surgical and perioperative teams to ensure safe patient care


Additional Information

  • Minimum 5 years of experience required
  • Must hold active Maine licensure
  • Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification required
  • No DEA required
  • Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
