Job Description
We are seeking an Anesthetist for a 12-day assignment in Massachusetts. This role involves 24-hour in-house call on Tuesdays, providing significant autonomy, including the ability to independently administer medications and induce patients. The Anesthetist will cover a broad spectrum of cases, from general and plastics to orthopedic, urology, gynecology, endoscopy, and healthy pediatric patients.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Exercise great autonomy within a supervision model.
- Independently administer medications and induce patients.
- Manage a diverse range of cases, including general, plastics, orthopedic, urology, gynecology, endoscopy, and healthy pediatric cases.
Additional Information
- EMR: Epic
- Required Certifications: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Setting: Inpatient
- Call Schedule: 24-hour in-house call 7 AM to 7 AM on Tuesdays
- Patients Per Day: 5 to 10 depending on case type
- LOA: 12 Days
- Staffing Mix: Supervision - 1 to 3 or 4
